“Whatever you do, keep improving,” says Virtium Technology CEO Phu Hoang. In this talk he shares how that and tenacity have been the keys to his success as an entrepreneur, philanthropist and business leader. Hoang’s leadership philosophy focuses on enhancing the lives of others through sustainable, ethical business practices and balancing family and career. He is passionate about improving the world we live in, and sharing that sensibility with family, customers and employees in both local and worldwide communities.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.

Phu Hoang is the CEO of Virtium Technology, Inc. He co-founded the company in 1997 to engineer and manufacture storage products that touch people’s lives through cell phone towers, heart monitors, in-flight entertainment, train safety monitors, military backpack laptops, and much more.

This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx
