Coinbase is a great place to get started investing in crypto, but the fees will rip your eyeballs out. Instead of Coinbase, you should buy and sell crypto using GDAX (owned by Coinbase), to greatly reduce or even ELIMINATE your fees.

In this video, I’ll walk you through the fee structure for both Coinbase and GDAX, so that you have a thorough understanding of what you’re paying, AND how you can minimize or completely eliminate your buy/sell fees.

Every time in the last 2 hours I try to buy BTC in any amount… says that I need to trade in bigger amounts and to enter a market order… I wonder if that is legal too though…

Rafael Reyes says:

I think GDAX/Coinbase figured it out and now they just let you do Market Orders… Pretty Bad… any suggestions Bobby?

Vlad Tokarev says:

It would be greatly appreciated if you remove the window with your face while showing the data on the screen. What's the point of seeing your face?

Kristopher meaney says:

Why is part of the screen clipped off with the bar on the left, with Balance/Buy/Sell buttons. It is covering the titles of all the listings. How do I make that go away, so I can see the stuff that is below it. (I presume it to be the cryptocurrency name) and some bars (that I can partially see underneath)

Kristopher meaney says:

WOW!!! Thank you so much for this video!! This has been the most useful crypto help video I have seen. I have been using Coinbase, and have become really frustrated with the fees. I have been investing money and being charged a 4% fee, but not only that!! Coinbase also scams you when you make a purchase. The prices for Buying is not the price listed in the dashboard. It is about 150-200 (right now anyways) less in the Buy Bitcoin price, than the Dashboard price. Total scam! …. I am going to move to GDAX right now.
